Before bonding in place, we will show you the veneers on your teeth to make sure you are happy with them. Bonding a veneer in place is done with a special adhesive, which holds it firmly on the tooth.

Frequently, preparing your teeth consists of removing only a very small amount of tooth enamel from the front of your teeth to compensate for the thickness of the porcelain veneers, which are often thinner than a contact lens. In many cases, there is often no need to remove any enamel at all!

Yes, of course. Reshaping or cosmetic contouring is an ideal treatment for very small fractures or chips or to simply reshape what nature has given you to a more aesthetically pleasing smile. Anaesthesia is not usually necessary since we use special polishing wheels to reshape teeth with a minimal loss of tooth structure.

Contouring can change the smile line; if one front tooth is a little longer than the other, contouring can make them the same size.

We can also round off sharp corners of teeth or pointed canines, to soften their appearance. Smile symmetry can also be achieved with cosmetic contouring.
