Dr. Doug Hammond qualified in dentistry at the University of Wales in 2000 and later in medicine at University College London in 2007.

Dr. Doug Hammond is a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon. He expertly manages all dental alveolar surgery (including wisdom teeth extractions and sedation of all complexities) and is a highly experienced implant surgeon. Additionally, he is a skin cancer surgeon and handles traumatic injuries. He is also very capable of performing minor skin operations on any part of the body, such as cyst removal, skin cancer treatment and scar revision.

He has also served as the first team doctor for the England Rugby League team. Despite his extensive experience, skills, and knowledge, he maintains an incredibly understated manner.

At The Waterside Dental Clinic, Dr. Doug Hammond joins us to offer surgical extractions (including wisdom teeth), removal of cysts and lesions from the oral cavity and head and neck region, placement of dental implants and sedation services.

Outside of work, Dr. Doug Hammond is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoys keeping fit, reading, and spending time with his wife and five children.
