Cosmetic Dentistry

Porcelain Veneers

These beautiful thin laminates are used in cosmetic dentistry as a way to repair cracked, chipped, mis-shaped, permanently stained, poorly restored or crowded teeth.

Porcelain veneers are custom-made shells of porcelain that can be bonded to the front of your teeth to provide a beautiful new smile.

They are created to correct the unique problems you have with your teeth.

Porcelain Crowns and Bridges

Cosmetic dentistry can also involve restorations like porcelain crowns that match the colour of your natural teeth, while repairing a damaged tooth so that it functions properly.

Unlike veneers, porcelain crowns generally cover all surfaces of the tooth and tend to be used only when the tooth is fractured or very broken down.

Composite Bonding

This is a method where we can bond white composite resin materials to your teeth so that you don’t have to suffer from irregularities in your teeth like gaps in your smile, mis-shaped teeth or broken teeth.

Dr Timothy Williams has undergone extensive training for composite bonding and is currently one of a very small number of practitioners in the UK utilising a revolutionary new and exciting composite bonding system.

Teeth Straightening

We use Cfast® (Cosmetically focused, adult straight teeth) and also SmileTRU®, which are both simple, gentle and minimally invasive cosmetic treatments that correct alignment issues with the top and bottom front six teeth, and can level and round out the arches, thus satisfying the needs of the vast majority of adult patients who seek straighter teeth.

Teeth Whitening

This is one of the most common forms of cosmetic dentistry and here at The Waterside Dental Clinic we are experts in, and have masses of experience of teeth whitening.

The Waterside Dental Clinic can brighten your smile with at-home customised tray whitening, so that you are no longer worried about the shade of your teeth.

Gum Contouring

Here at The Waterside Dental Clinic we can correct your smile if you are unhappy about the amount of gum tissue that shows. Too much gum, uneven gum levels or gum recession can detract from an otherwise great looking smile.

Dr Jose Zurdo, our Specialist Periodontist, is internationally renowned for his work in this exciting field of dentistry.
